In an effort to continue providing our customers with exceptional security compliance, Branch will have a planned upgrade to encryption protocols on some of our databases. The upgrade is scheduled for May 20, 2021 at 2pm PST, and will require roughly 10 minutes with limited impact to our services. Specifically, this upgrade will not impact end-users of Branch links, your link creation, event tracking or SDKs.
However, it will impact the following services: > Saving/modifying account settings including creating new app accounts or user accounts > Creating/editing journeys campaigns > Creating/editing webhooks/DIs, products/permissions, ad networks > API endpoints for: v1/app, v1/credits and v1/referrals > Custom domain creation and cert renewal
Non-impacted services: > Viewing settings, analytics and data exports > SDKs > Link creation > Link routing > Event tracking > Deep linking > Attribution > Webhooks > GDPR APIs > Security and privacy
